| Sales Associate – Full Time / Part Time The Thousand Island Bait Store is looking to add to the team! The following positions are now open: • Full Time Sales Associate • Part-Time Sales Associate Requirements: • Strong listening and communication skills • Basic mathematical skills • Willingness to learn job specific technology • Detailed oriented and organized • Problem solving competence and eagerness to troubleshoot when necessary • Weekend and night availability • Not afraid to handle live bait • Must be able to lift 40 lbs Preferred: • Knowledge of fishing and local bodies of water • Knowledge of the Thousand Islands Region • Experience with Topaz Gas Console or Keystrokes POS • Previous retail or customer service experience Responsibilities: • Act as the point of contact for all customers • Assist customers with questions • Run gas console, POS system, and licensing system • Count and bag live bait • Ensure storefront is fully stocked and cleaned • Fill propane • Complete any other tasks that are asked of you Full Time Sales Associate Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED • 1–3 years of retail experience • 21 years of age or older Part-Time Sales Associate Qualifications: • 18 years of age or older Location: • Thousand Island Bait Store: 42980 NYS-12, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607 How to Apply: • Head to https://tibait.com/employment to download an application or stop by the store to pick one up. | Gas Station Clerk – FULL TIME / PART TIME We are searching for a reliable full-time and/or part-time gas station clerk at Jeffers Mini Mart with good customer service and a positive attitude. Duties include handling cash register, brewing fresh coffee, restocking snacks/beverages, and cleaning floors/restrooms. Previous retail or customer experience preferred but not required.
